Which is why I think there's talk by Republican senators to rush a vote without having confirmation hearings.

Nothing says that the Senate has to take up an Impeachment to the exclusion of all other matters.

Add to which the House wouldn't move that quickly with an Impeachment vote, unless you want us to be as irresponsible as the Republicans.

If Trump was to win White House but the Repubs lost the Senate, what could the House do with their Articles? Would it be worthwhile to have a trial in the new Democratic Senate, with witnesses and evidence?

Or would it be better to just forget about it?

If the House Democrats are smart, they should have had a case built on how the president failed by his own hand to defend the nation, from ignoring the Obama team's pandemic playbook, to eliminating the pandemic response team, to equipping hospitals and senior care facilities with adequate amounts of PPE and ventilators, to screwing with blue states/cities, to calling the virus a hoax, to telling Bob Woodward one thing and the nation another, to 200,000 dead Americans. This case should have already been built and ready to roll for a second impeachment. If it isn't one of those arrows in Nancy's quiver, then what is?

There isn't value in Impeaching a Government official if the net result isn't positive.

and misdemeanors. Upholding justice is the value. That type of thinking is the problem and why we are where we are. Might keep the senate and Fuck faces busy. You are advocating 2 tiers of justice. One for the wealthy and powerful and one for the poor and common man.

Absolutely correct. And as such, it's the House' duty to impeach regardless of potential frustration in the Senate. These crimes need to be paraded in front of the American electorate.

Wouldn't surprise me if he shaved 5 points off. He definitely didn't contribute to a bump.
