Judging just from the comparison with yesterday - where there's a difference of 24,673 between 9:40am yesterday morning and 7:36pm that same evening, what happens if you add 24,673 to the confirmed cases number we saw today (6,938,656)? It took me four rounds of adding 24,673 to get to 7,007,742.

If you assume that particular rate of increase, each day, the seven-million-confirmed-cases result would arrive sometime this coming Sunday.
