It has all the media freaking out because he indicated that there will be no

smooth transition of power. That is another fantasy he has popped off his diminished brain. It has been the major story all day on each of the cable networks. If he loses he will use his last month to try to cause as much havoc as he can and then in January take his demented ass on out the door.

I mean after awhile, kinda starts at least being something a little more than a "freak out" yes?

Crisis was averted because the other candidate backed down at the last minute.

The possibility still exists, it's not impossible, just unlikely.

In the 18 states currently without faithless elector laws, the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact would operate in a manner identical to the system that they have been using for over 200 years. In these states (which currently use the state-by-state winner-take-all method of awarding electoral votes), the presidential electors are chosen by the political party whose presidential candidate receives the most popular votes inside the state

14. This isn't about faithless electors

This is about the fact that the Constitution gives the power to determine electors to the state legislature.

Using the popular vote is simply a NORM we've ultimately followed, but we had multiple slates of electors in 1876, and the only thing keeping state legislatures from going rogue is fear of the repercussions of ignoring the popular vote, not a law or the Constitution.

say the electors all go the winning candidate or divided proportionally that is what is what is supposed to happen.

At least that is my current understanding.

12. Since that's what Trump has been doing since Day One, why do you imagine he won't now?

He’s been signaling. He’s been saying it in plain English. He and his minions are trying to rig the election 6 ways from Sunday — he projects; that’s how you know he is doing the thing he accuses others of doing.

So when he says he is going to ignore the law, why would you think otherwise?

Even moderate Amy Klobuchar warns us of the possibilities of a Trump takeover. Several other senators and respected officials also have tweeted and made statements.

When the rest of the world is telling you to be alert because it could happen it's probably a good idea to listen.

What if some states don’t count ballots in time and their GOP legislatures vote to seat the Trump’s electors?

I have suspected for a long time that his last ditch plan is to declare victory on the night of the election then use every trick he can find to disallow mail in votes. I will grant you the right to vote via mail under the following circumstances.

1. You state has no paper trail at the polling places.

2. You are immune compromised to the extent that you don't leave the house at all. If you grocery shop, you can vote.

3. You state uses mail in voting as the norm.

I want mail in, but this is not the election cycle to use it.
