2020 Election: Trump claims first presidential debate will be unfair'
Donald Trump has claimed the first presidential debate next week will be "unfair."
Mr Trump said in a radio interview that veteran moderator Chris Wallace was controlled by the radical left and would not ask Joe Biden tough questions.
Chris is good, but I would be willing to bet that he wont ask Biden tough questions, the president told Brian Kilmeade on Fox News Radio.
He will ask tough questions of me and it will be unfair, I have no doubt about it. He will be controlled by the radical left.

(10,749 posts)...the un-debate should go on with the debates and given the time allocated to both candidates to answer the questions.

(23,542 posts)That said I don't think the debate will change too many minds. The deplorables will probably say trump crushed Biden.

(9,895 posts)He is the epitome of 20 pounds of shit in a 10 pound bag.
I am so fucking tired of his schtick - the constant crying and whining when he is behind, the hideous braggadocio and false bravado when he 'wins' ANYTHING, the total lack of vocabulary and overall inability to speak intelligently...he make me want to punch kittens.
Make the orange man disappear on November 3rd....or the kitten gets it!!!

(82,849 posts)Trump spent weeks crowing about how inept he thinks Biden is, but that hasn't provided him quite the bang for his braggadocio. So lately he's taken to complaining about how Biden is taking PEDs or something to improve his public performance. Now Trump's kvetching about how unfair everything is to him, which is his usual prelude to walking away from whatever situation it is that went south on him.
If he can figure out a way to duck Biden without looking like a craven little chickenshit(spoiler alert: he can't), he'll drop out.

(630 posts)to ask about burisma bullshit, etc. I think Wallace actually is pretty fair in these settings, so when he doesn't ask about Ukraine trump can fuss and whine and throw red meat about the media to his stupid base.

Any "debate" with him in it is NOT a debate.
It is a total waste of time.
He'll just go through the same-old same-old TPs and lies and call Biden some more names.

(1,349 posts)This has been brought up a million times over the past year (he won't debate). All he's doing here is what he always does - preemptively attacking EVERYTHING/EVERYBODY as being against him, unfair to him. Same with the election results crap..."Well, I don't know if I'll except the results because, as you know, there's going to be a lot of cheating against me. It's going to be very unfair."
I've said it a bunch of times and will bet $$ on it - there's no way in hell that this egomaniac is going to give up the huge ratings that come with debates. He'll want to be seen by the millions watching and will want to throw out his stupid insults (WRONG, YOU PUPPET, YOU'D BE IN JAIL).

(3,858 posts)There is no way he will back out. This is what he lives for and it would kill any slim chance he has at winning. He's only trying to poison the well and set up his defense for a poor showing.
