I owe my legal career to RBG. I am 13 years younger than RBG and when I was in high school, women could not get a credit card on their own or take out a mortgage on their own. We take for granted what she did for us and we need to make sure all is not lost for our daughters and granddaughters as it surely will be if the Republican party has its way.
I owe my life to her. If not for her legal victories, I would likely have passed decades ago from abuse and lack of independence from white male domination in all aspects of my life.
