Hes been living there and teaching English (family inn New Zealand). Reportedly mild symptoms but not clear why hes in the hospital.

(13,655 posts)in the hospital to keep it under control. I would think it could afford much better treatment if the symptoms get worse. They'll catch the fever going up or whatever and use whatever treatment/s they have found most effective. And I bet his owing a small fortune isn't part of the plan.

(51,308 posts)Is he having respiratory symptoms? My doctor told me at the time that if my breathing became compromised that would be when hospitalization would be recommended.
It never did, and I rode it out at home. It was awful, never been that sick. Im much older than your nephew; there must be a reason theyve hospitalized him.
