(28,789 posts)every thing that emerges turns more people away from him. some will die still worshiping him, but not all of them. I've read several anecdotes of people turning just in the past week or so, including here on DU.

Years later, the guru admitted the truth after several other victims came forward.
Trump supporters are the same as this woman's husband.

It literally - not figuratively, not symbolically, but LITERALLY would not matter what he does. It's been said time and time again, it's truly a cult. They are brainwashed and there's no salvaging them....

(14,856 posts)This is going to lose him some votes from that group, but probably not all that many. Of course he's never going to lose his rabid Christian voters, the ones who believe he was sent by God. Their support for him is religious in nature, and therefore is not rational by definition.
