Privately owned TV network.

However, Louise Mensch is not a reliable source in any way, as we learned all too well in 2016.

while the BBC is funded by the licence fee. Their news reporting, however, is done under contract for them by ITN, who are owned by publicly-traded companies. It's reputable.

The story may be this:

Revealed: Trump campaign strategy to deter millions of Black Americans from voting in 2016

Channel 4 News has exclusively obtained a vast cache of data used by Donald Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign on almost 200 million American voters.

It reveals that 3.5 million Black Americans were categorised by Donald Trump’s campaign as ‘Deterrence’ – voters they wanted to stay home on election day.
...
The ‘Deterrence’ project can be revealed after Channel 4 News obtained the database used by Trump’s digital campaign team – credited with helping deliver his shock victory to become president four years ago.
...
Brad Parscale, the campaign’s 2016 digital director told PBS Frontline: “I would say I’m nearly 100 percent sure we did not run any campaigns that targeted even African Americans.”

to be unreliable should always be considered unreliable. Instead of quoting unreliable sources here on DU, a poster should check the facts. For example, is that report scheduled to appear on C4? If so, why not use a link to that schedule instead of giving credibility to a notoriously unreliable and untrustworthy third-party source?

I know she is a bit far out but she has been prescient on quite a number of things.
Maybe one has to be a bit crazy (or has to appear so) for this to happen.

She isn't my first choice to look for on what's going on. She has been wrong so many times that everything she claims has to be verified by more reliable sources before I'll believe it.
