NBC News: According to police records, Parscale had 10 guns confiscated from his residence, including several rifles. Police described Parscale as being under the influence of alcohol.

Police say they observed bruising on Parscale's wife, Candace, and she stated he has hit her.

My Dad was an elected NYS Judge, and I was a constant source of embarrassment and abrasion for him. We didn't really come together until after he retired in the early 90s. According to my understanding of the Baker Act the person is involuntarily detained for psychiatric evaluation, not arrested. An arrest involves charges, detainment under the Baker Act does not, it's for the welfare of the person being detained.
