New Echelon Insights national poll has Biden up 51-43.

I am not familiar with this poll. But it's consistent with a few recent polls that have Biden up 7-10 nationally.

1. Ya, I just saw one that had a 4% difference. The numbers have been averaging t least 9 higher.

Consistently. This one sounds more true than the other anyway.

2. If Recollection Serves, Sir

In 2018, Democratic candidates polled, in total, about eight points over the Republican total. I can see no reason to suspect the totals this year will run much different. The mood of the country is about the same. People's minds are mostly made up, and that long ago. If anything, the anger towards, and hatred for, the cheap thug runs a bit hotter and deeper as the corpses pile up. This is more a census than an election --- we are counting the sane and the deluded, and sanity is most likely to poll the greater total.

3. Maybe plus 2 for the good guys since 2018

on a Congressional level. That is to say even if Joe wins by 15 because of endless Trump scandals, Republicans in general will likely beat that number.
