Hes essentially invoking his Fifth Amendment rights against self-incrimination when he wont release his tax returns publicly. He doesnt want us to see whats there, not only because its embarrassing, but because it may be evidence of a crime, Figliuzzi explained.

That is a wonderful way to view this situation. Trump does not want to incriminate himself so he is pleading "the 5th".

He doesn't even have the balls to admit it.

(95,255 posts)In that court, concealment is confession. In a court of law, a judge would counsel a jury to draw no such inference from silence, but the general public is no court of law.
He has already in a real sense made a legal confession, since his crime consisted in signing a document sent off to be kept on file in a government archive....
