Connect: If billionaires like Trump weren't SO cheap, there'd be money for healthcare

Kamala is doing great tonight on Lawrence O’Donnell. She came darn close to making the connection. She basically said “Trump is trying to take away healthcare from everyone in the middle of an epidemic.” Right after discussing his ludicrous tax history.

Connect it: Some rich people say they don’t pay enough in taxes, and they support democrats. But some rich people are so selfish they want to keep every dime to themselves. They usually support Republicans. They fight the Affordable Care Act because they don’t want to pay a dime even to save someone’s life.

Republicans claim it costs too much money for everyone to be able to have healthcare. That it’s some kind of government takeover to have affordable healthcare. Is it a government takeover to have roads and highways available for everyone to be able to drive on them?

But if Republican-supporting billionaires would stop fighting against fair taxes, if they just pay their fair share instead of finding loopholes or cheating like Donald Trump, then there’d be plenty of money for healthcare.

But they keep fighting it. Donald cut off healthcare for his own nephew’s sick baby. Guys like Donald Trump fight against healthcare as a public good because guys like Donald worship money, not God. Guys like Trump don’t love their neighbors as themselves. They don’t put their country first. They always put themselves first.

Paying favors and worshipping rich people.
The CEO is no one special. And they do not deserve golden parachutes and wages like 300 times what an average employee earns.

People need to not trust rich people and insist if they want the wealth they contribute to the society that tolerates them.

We don't need rich people they are parasites upon the people and they must be made to remember how dependant they are on others.

Social Security would be solvent forever if rich Repubs weren’t greedy assholes.

Why should a 5 billion $ capital gain be taxed at the same rate as Grandpa's modest retirement investment?

“I paid $3.7 M in taxes in 2017 not because I’m a billionaire, because I’m NOT, but because I don’t CHEAT on my taxes.
Donald cheats on taxes, cheats on his wives, cheats at golf, and is cheating America out of (its position of leadership in the world, its destiny, etc.)”
