Meghan McCain, husband welcome first baby girl, Liberty Sage McCain Domenech
ABC's Meghan McCain and her husband, The Federalist's Ben Domenech, on Monday, welcomed the birth of their first baby, a girl named Liberty Sage McCain Domenech, according to a tweet from the official Twitter account of "The View."
McCain had announced previously that her doctors advised she should be "extra vigilant" amid the coronavirus outbreak, prompting her to work remotely for "The View" from home for the final months of her pregnancy.
The 35-year-old daughter of the late Sen. John McCain (R) also said in August she would not post photos of her "baby bump" due to vitriol said about her in the media on "an almost constant/daily basis."
McCain married Domenech, the co-founder and publisher of The Federalist (an American conservative online magazine and podcas), in 2017.

..."Susan Ford surprised her father when she let the pup, whose name she changed from Streaker to Liberty, into the Oval Office for their first meeting. In his memoir, Ford recalled how he got down on all fours to play with the puppy.
The pair hit it off right away, and it was Ford himself who often took Liberty for her walks.
One notable incident occurred when Liberty awakened the president early one morning indicating that she needed to go out. Dressed in his bathrobe and slippers, Ford took the dog down on the elevator and outside.
For the return trip, however, the elevator would not work. Because the stairway doors were locked as a security precaution, Ford — accompanied by the golden retriever’s barking — had to pound on the walls until Secret Service agents came running to help."...(more)
