Biden should ask for a moment of silence for the 210,000 Americans dead from Covid-19 tonight

I think it would powerful, the dead have not been mentioned or honored in any way by the current Administration. When Biden is called on about Covid-19, which is a topic tonight, he should say, "Chris, Mr. Trump, first I'd like to ask the both of you, and all of the viewers at home watching to bow their heads and join me in a moment of silence to honor and remember the 210,000 Americans killed by Covid-19."

It would be a Home Run! And it would be the most talked about moment of the debates tonight. But more than that, it's high time the victims start getting recognized. I feel like their stories are not being heard by too large a portion of the ocuntry.

Chris Wallace wouldn't allow that, and Biden would look like he was grandstanding. Beakybird Sep 2020 #1

The main thing about debates at this level is that the person has to feel comfortable and come across as authentic. If that was something Biden felt comfortable with, then he should go for it.
