NEWS - Scott Reed, whos been the top political strategist at the US Chamber for years, tells me he has resigned, amid a perceived drift to the left at the Chamber on heels of nearly two dozen endorsements of House Dems.
Our write up of the mess at the Chamber, including officials there firing back at Reed.
Chamber folks say they terminated Reed. Reed recommends better exec committee oversight and term limits for top execs.

(3,399 posts)I was a real estate broker & Realtor for 25+ years. Every year it was the same threat, "If you won't join (pay their ransom) we can't recommend you".
It is blackmail under the guise of being the business's "Consumer Reports".
We had a 75-90 agent office, & had two complaints that made it to the RE licensing division over a period exceeding 4 years, & they never gave us a higher rating then "C".
Again, fuck the chamber of commerce.

Maybe workers should call their collective efforts the Chamber of Labor.
