I held a security clearance in the military...

I went through an FBI background check. I would never have received my security clearance if I had been in massive debt. It is a security risk, plain and simple.

Treasury's background checks would have ended pretty quick if I had anything resembling that sort of debt, might have taken them 3 or 4 days back then to get that far but that would have been it..
