It's not like Trump hasn't used that line before.
That's just a a bullshit comparison to what could happen if no one did anything at all.
He should have been ready to say how leaky the China travel ban was, how most of the virus came into the country from Europe, and how bad the job Trump has done is clear by comparison with the death and infection rates in other developed countries.
