In general, a good amount of the media is dropping the ball regarding the debate analysis

While they are characterizing the debate as pure chaos, which is accurate, at the same time they seem to be playing the "bothsiderisms", and that is bullshit

The chaos and disruption exhibited at the debate last night was 100% due to trump. There is NO ambiguity about that, and for anyone to even hint that they "both share the responsibility", is a LIE and a false narrative.

It isn't a surprise that the white supremacists and the thugs support trump, and every republican in congress should be ashamed that they support this jackass who is a clear and present danger to the country

From what I’m hearing and reading, I think you’re right.

However, Morning Joe just started and it sounds like he’s going to put the blame squarely where it belongs.

Stirring up controversy gets more viewers than simply stating Trump came off as the incoherent bully we've believed him to be all along.

Trump was the one constantly interrupting while the Wallace and Biden couldn't get a word in - and that it was a disgrace for the viewers at home.

Watching CNN during commercials on ESPN, they were pounding PINO!
A couple said Biden wasn't great, but that was about the depth of the criticism.
In fact, someone noted that he likely realized he didn't have to particularly shine, as PINO was pouring gas on himself, and lighting matches.
Also, one person commented that Joe got into the mud, as criticism. The retorts were that doing that to a bully is a good move, and one person said it wasn't much of a criticism, as she thought Joe should have been even harsher.
They weren't close to "both sides" commentary.
Don't know about last night, though. I didn't watch.
