4. Hardcore anti-Semitism has been bubbling just under the surface of

right-wing politics, certainly ever since I've been online, going back to the late 1990s.

8. Sadly, it is all over social media.

I go to a gay gossip site on occasion, y'know, to catch up on the what's what, the who's who (and who they're doing) in the gay community, and even that site is rife with antisemitic bullshit! It would be one thing if that venom was just right-wing, but it is leaking into center and left circles too, usually in the form of diminishment, whataboutism, and denial, but sometimes, it is also just plain ole' Jew-hating tropes.

The fear and hostility of bigotry come from within a person, not from its unfortunate targets.

Antagonism against Jews, women, other races, religions or political factions -- when one target is revealed, you know hostility against others outside the "tribe" is either being kept hidden or currently dormant, not yet sparked into flame.
