because they would rather keep living in their fantasy world of him being a great man rather than having the truth right in front of them that proves beyond a shadow of doubt that he is a complete and utter asshole.
Especially since that would then also reflect on them as being complete assholes as well for supporting him so they wanted to avoid that at all costs.

11. Biden did better than most people would have.

I still feel traumatized this morning. I can’t imagine how Biden felt being on stage with that vile piece of shit. That said, Chris Wallace was outgunned and had no business being a moderator. He should have taken a cue from Biden and told the MF to shut up followed by slamming his hand on the desk. MF was actually quiet for a minute when Biden told him to shut up.

I can't imagine why - but he wants to prove that he can go the distance I suppose.

On the other hand, I believe Chump will back out of this. Especially when he sees how much he drops in the polls after the first one. I don't think I'll watch any more after last night.

He had a few really strong moments. I expect he will do better in the next two debates.

The real story last night was just how terrible Trump was. He took the absolute worst of his personality and amped it up times 10.

Trump didn’t alienate his base but he damn sure didn’t motivate fence sitters to turn out for him.

I really think he was on speed or cocaine.
