Gratitude thread from those of us who knew we couldn't handle the "debate" and detached.

It's especially difficult to defend against such utter proud malevolence when isolated alone at home. I'm happy to read your responses and diminish the emotional effect it probably had on you who watched.

I tried a couple of times, but had to give up after only a minute or two. I really appreciate those of you who were able to stand your ground and message back to the rest of us. I admire your mettle.

After trump talked over Biden I was just pissed.
It was on mute after that for another minute and trump was rambling on still and I stopped watching. I was already upset,so I vented here on DU. I can't stand trump his appearance and voice. His lies, bullying, and narcissism.

He is abusing the American people and his base is held together in this bully, abuse and enabler dynamic.

The magats are just like trump and want to harm and abuse or kill other people they don't like with impunity. Without consequences . Abusive, narcissistic ,the whole republican party and their followers have chosen to have no empathy, and don't want to turn it on either.
