Casual Trump Voters May Have Been Affected Last Night.

Not his base voters, but those who voted for him in 2016 because he was running as a Republican. Some of those voters, after watching Donald J. Trump show his ass last night, may just decide not to vote at all in a time of COVID-19 risks.

Casual voters vote casually. They don't love Donald Trump. They voted for him because they are Republicans. While they may not vote for a Democrat, they also may not vote for Donald J. Trump this year. It's very easy not to vote, after all.

Many of them dont really pay attention to the news or politics. But if they tuned in last night and they were likely shocked.

However, not everyone does, and not voting is always an option for people when confronted with insanity from their own party.

Here's what one Republican Pollster said last night, "The take away was about moderate Trump voters who maybe agree with Trump on much of his policy, but hate his persona. All Trump showed them for an hour and a half is what they hate about him."

He gave millions of his 2016 voters an hour and a half lesson on why they shouldn't vote for him again.

And I believe the hidden Trump voter has always been a myth, but I think there's a hidden non Trump voter now, a voter who voted for Trump and outwardly won't admit they are no longer going to vote for him because they're stubborn.

We have seen it in our own party in the past.

behavior last night that is so against everything he stands for. He can't deny that one. I got a call early this morning, and seemed odd. I refuse to talk to father about politics since Trump elected but I was feeling a reason for the call. It was like he was checking with me. Then thought after call, with coffee, that it had to do with that debate last night. I am curious if that pushed him away from voting Trump. He voted for Obama in 2008 because of Palin.
