Last night really opened my eyes to what a shit show this is going to be even after Biden wins on November 3rd. Trump got all his people in place to contest and win, to get mail in votes thrown out in key states, and to start shit on the streets if he has too.
What happens if Biden wins in a landslide. Trump is so deranged, does he start a war? Does he start civil unrest? Does he try to block Biden from taking over?

(1,474 posts)I have shut down all of my social media except for Instagram and Twitter. I feel grumpy everyday. Watching the news triggers all kinds of negativity for me.
Trump has really taken the mask off and has allowed Republicans to boldly and proudly be hypocrites and liars.
Oh my goodness, I can't wait for the Trump years to end.

(38,958 posts)I am hoping that Biden/Harris hands him and the rest of the GOP a soul crushing defeat winning 63 states and about 8 zillion Electoral Votes. As to what he does? Well, it will likely be along the lines of what one would expect from him denial, bullying, distraction, obfuscation and lots and lots of lawyers suing everyone and everything to get the results turned in his favor.

(9,231 posts)I think, of all the candidates, he sees the next 10-20 years most clearly, especially on how the economy is going to rapidly change and displace tens of millions of workers. Hes also incredibly in tune with Millennials, even more so than Buttigieg. (I love Pete as well, but I feel like his life has been very aloof and apart from his peers in some ways).
Ill be really interested to see how a Biden administration will utilize him. He needs to be in the mix.

(146,371 posts)I think that Donald J. Trump will simply slink away after he loses. I expect him to resign at some point after the election, so he can collect his pardon from Mike Pence. Like most bullies, he will run away once he has lost. Bullies are cowards at heart. Just watch.

We are in a perilous time and after Trump loses, he will be even more destructive.
There is a no win for Republicans. Do they want to survive through to the other side?

(1,995 posts)Do you work harder when you are worried or when you are hopeful? The reason I ask is because I work harder when I am hopeful. I think creating despair and making people think their vote will not count and creating paralyzing fear is trump campaigns main tactic. I may be wrong.

(81 posts)Battle ground states like PA, Georgia, Florida, Texas, Ohio, North Carolina. He has people of his closing and his affiliation in power seats that can turn the election around for him with cheating. If Trump wins everyone of those states, we get this idiot for 4 more years.

(8,700 posts)Trump may try to create some chaos but it wont work. His influence will drop dramatically when he loses the election by a landslide.
Cheer up! We are going to win this thing!
