There's no denying that this one man, more than anybody else, had the power to stop this from getting out of hand. It's almost a certainty that the only way he'll change his mind--and policies--about how this pandemic is managed, will be if he is severely personally affected. Unless he gets really, really sick, he won't change.
So, it is in the world's best interest if Trump gets really, terribly ill.

The best case scenario is that somehow, the virus increases Biden's margin of victory, and reduces Trump's chances of overturning that victory in the courts.
