Did anyone else see Chris Christie on a Morning Joe segment today? I'm scared for him...

He was gasping for air while he was talking (about how awful Jon Huntsman is). He was in his usual bad mood, angry and snarky and "pissed" (his word).

This man looks as close to a heart attack as anyone I've ever seen in the public spotlight. I just wonder if the MJ crew were as alarmed as I was looking at that tape. But anyone having that amount of difficulty speaking (with his anger on top of it) has got to be heading for trouble.

I truly don't know why the man continues to do whatever he is doing. He needs help. He needs an intervention if anybody does, maybe even taking medical leave and getting psychological counseling and physical therapy. It's not good...

- even as Morris County Freeholder decades ago.

He does seem to be a coronary risk, but I really think that should be his, his family's, and his doctor's concern. He did say he was trying to lose weight during his run for Governor - though he was obviously not successful.

That can't be healthy to be that big. I understand some can't help it with gland issues, ect... but I would think he could afford some good care. He does seem unhealthy. Probably why he didn't run. I expect him to be at the top of the VP candidate list though. Seems he is angling for that.

And neither should the people who voted for him be concerned . . . except for he whines about Public Servants not 'doing their job' yet Good Guv'nah Dough Boy is out traipsing around and shilling for Romney.

Be concerned about Christie's ties to Karl Rove - and if he is tied to Karl Rove - then so is Romney. That's the fear factor here for me.

He reminds me of a guy who was morbidly obese and had a partner who was heavy herself. He was abusive toward her, vicious even, snarling the way Christie is doing. He'd been a friend of my husband's in college but I told him I never wanted to see the guy again...

I notice Christie likes to be abusive verbally to women (and to older men). As a large man, he can't get away with that so easily. Women and old people don't like to be pushed around by a huge bully.

This is why the idea of his being Romney's running mate is out of whack. If all he attracts is younger, white males to the ticket and he is used to look ugly and mean, I think the Republican party is badly mistaken. He'll drive people away...

It's not a turn off for people. Hell - there are a lot of 'liberal' women hating men too - and those guys are the ones that crossed over and voted for him.

Even liberal women hating and objectifying men must find him - er - attractive?

He has a lot of his meals prepared for him. For me, having to prepare meals and judge portions is the hardest part of dieting. I would imagine Christie is a serious snacker. The kind of guy who will eat a sensibly portioned dinner and then 2 hours later be eating a sandwich and some cookies.

Can I just say the obvious?

He's fat and ugly.

He needs to lose 100 pounds, get an eyelift, and have the fat removed from his chest because even when he loses the weight he's going to have moobs. He's a perfect example of a gross unkept man in America regardless of political affiliation. Pay attention boys . . . Tighten that ass, brighten that smile - the good old girls who like men for how they look on their arm are here - and out there.
