It was a terrifying experience. I'd already lost my older brother, father, and then my sister and mother, in just 3 weeks apart in 2015. He's the last of my immediate family.

23. My BIL was sick as a dog for 10-12 days

He’s very healthy but is 67 so it was scary. Fever, cough, body aches. Never had to be hospitalized. His spouse is an RN and they had hospital grade PPE to keep everybody safe. That was a few weeks ago and he seems to be completely recovered. But this thing is so sneaky that there may be damage that hasn’t caused problems yet.

But if he tested positive and then saw symptoms right away after being negative hours earlier, it's possible he got a massive viral load and this doctor is right, this could be extreme very quickly.
