Mail Boxes being moved

I went by my nearest Post Office this afternoon around 2pm to mail a bill. I usually put the mail in an outside box on a drive around lane. As I pulled into the parking lot there was a small Post Office stake bed truck with the mail box on it. As I drove around the lot the truck pulled out on the main street and drove away. They took the only mail box that I know of for miles around and now it's gone. Later I was walking my dog on my block and I ran into a carrier and asked him about it. He works out of the PO that serves my neighborhood which is the one were I went to mail my bill. He said it was there this am before he started his route and he would ask about it when he returned to the office. Now you have to go inside to mail anything. That's not a real big deal as they have a way to mail letters without having to see a clerk. It certainly is inconvenient...and suspect.

Who knows what tRump's crazed cult members might decide to do to mailboxes that are on the streets in the middle of the night. I wouldn't put anything past them.

3. I hope you'll report this to your congresspeople. A federal judge blocked DeJoy's changes to USPS

-not sure whether that covers the removal of mailboxes (I would think so)

The post office branch is in Jacksonville FL in a lower middle class neighborhood. It is ethnically mixed with whites, blacks and Hispanics. It is a small building but it serves a large area just south of the city core. Like I said, it was more of a convenience than anything because you could drive up to it and never get out of your car. Our congressman is John Rutherford R so I'm sure it would be a wasted call. He's pretty much a foot soldier and follows orders.
