It’s clear what he intends, but why would they sacrifice that much audience?

His last town hall with the same network was a complete disaster. Biden has been golden at town halls, and that likely will be the same for the one that is coming up.

You KNOW that's all he wants. To be able to say, "I got better ratings than Biden." But the problem is, he's stupid, and he doesn't realize that he's going to get slaughtered in the ratings. It's happened every time he's gone head-to-head with Biden. Biden's convention got more viewers, his CNN Town Hall got more viewers, etc. Biden's going to best him again. How does he not see this coming? I know, I know, he'll do what he always does: see that he got beat in the ratings and then tweet about how he had 80 bazillion times more viewers than Biden did anyway.

By the way, doesn't he realize by now that the town hall format is DEATH for him? He can't relate to real people asking him questions. He'll crash and burn just like he always does at every town hall he's ever done. He's better off hiding in his bunker.

Who knows if the infected candidate will actually show up anywhere.. he changes his mind every 5 minutes. Maybe he’ll negotiate a deal with Fox. I don’t really care. Do you?

He doesn’t want to debate, fine. Don’t give him free air time.

The Biden camp is insisting that, with the second debate canceled, the third debate on the 22nd should be in the "town hall" format originally scheduled for the 15th. The Trump response is sure to be "well, you already had two town halls on the 15th, so there's no reason to change the 22nd." Which will mean that it will be the same format as the first, and you'll get Shouty McAdderall doing his usual stunts and trying to bait Joe into a gaffe.

Trump will pretend it’s a ratings battle. But actually people will switch back and forth and the contrast will be stark.

Also. Trump is still sick. Chances are he won’t be able to do it anyways.
