I'm watching the senate races and the presidency closely. I want to know which house races I should be watching as well. I would like to see some of these republican congressmen unemployed soon.

(14,565 posts)Debbie Mucarsel-Powell as incumbent has one of the most difficult races in the country, against a sitting county mayor who has greater name recognition. Carlos Gimenez believes that advantage is so great he doesn't have to debate Mucarsel-Powell. He dodged all three debates, after she agreed to them.
Consequently Mucarsel-Powell has gone on attack, persistently labeling him as "Corrupt Carlos." The DCCC ads are more damning this time and I think it is needed. She ran positive commercials a few months ago, basically to acquaint the public with her.
It's going to be very tight
Donna Shalala in FL-27 is facing a rematch with former broadcaster Maria Elvira Salazar. I can't stand Salazar, to the point I click away on every commercial. This race is more troubling than it appears at first glance because Republicans in the Miami area have basically nominated one Cuban after another, and are attempting to sell them as a block. They are framing it as insider vs. outsider, trying to scare locals into voting against all the evil Democratic radical socialists.
Vote for the Cuban straight ticket. That is essentially the attempt. The Miami mayoral race of Democrat Daniella Levine Cava vs. Republican Steve Bovo is the same thing. The GOP is attempting to feed off Trump's popularity among Cubans.

Cawthorn made news when his social media pics, smiling from one of Hitler's infamous hangouts during a trip to Germany, were exposed. If you would like to help Col. Davis in this close race:
