Editing to add that Haspel apparently is now under suspicion because she "opposed the declassifications, saying that the release of the unverified raw material could jeopardize spies ability to gather intelligence and endanger their sources.'"

(1,789 posts)I do not know enough about Gina Haspell specifically to say whether the term non-partisan applies, but in general they see any reluctance to be partisan for Trump as being partisan against him. Even sycophants like Sessions and Barr have a small and withered but still existent tether to reality. Barr knows he can't "just say" things in court like Trump "just says" things on Twitter. There remains a tiny bit of hope that the entire executive branch is not yet corrupted if the CIA head is not playing ball.
