with that OP Ed is it falsely trying to relate 2016 to 2020, and making certain assumptions which I believe are not valid

That being said, no one is taking anything for granted, which is why we are seeing record numbers in early voting

which I find rather sad in many ways. I remember a world before cable noise arrived on the scene and amazingly it was possible to be informed without a bunch of talking heads screaming their opinions and multitudes of possible scenarios at me to fill airtime between commercial breaks.

I find my life is much better without their bloviating.

1) Turn off the infotainment. It is there to stir up a horse race, because it makes the rich people who run the various outlets fat stacks of cash.

2) Vote in November like your life depends on it, because it DOES. Take a friend, wear a mask and stay six feet or more from other people.

Fuck NBC and same time town hall. I've got no problem with Trump Town Hall, except same time!!?? Fuck that!! Absolute disservice to the people!! But then again, that is mode of operandi for Trump.

I literally feel my BP and stress levels going up because no one checks him. It was a thing of beauty when Biden finally told him to shut up. I ended up muting him after about 20 minutes. I couldn’t take it anymore. I’ll listen to the lowlights after

I agree that it is wrong to make the public choose between the two events. But, I never planned on watching Trump unless he was going to directly debate Biden anyway.

Since they are two separate events, then I know which I will be watching.

I don't normally have the patience for the town halls, but for tonight, this has been made into a competition thanks to Trump, NBC, and Chuck Todd.

So, let's win!

I find daytime MSNBC is Fox Lite, especially with Andrea Mitchell’s 4 hour show (or at least that’s what it feels like, though Craig Melvin is also terrible) at least until Wallace’s show starts.

As others have said they have clearly gotten the memo from the c suite types that the horse race narrative must be flogged to maximize revenue in final few weeks.
