I’ve read none bragging about how they’re proud of voting.

Seen any rappers encouraging voting lately? Please don’t tell me Killer Mike and Cardi B lol.

Personally, I don’t give a crap about any artist from any genre telling us how they vote. But bragging that you don’t vote is just wrong.

50 Cent has just announced that he will be voting for trump
Guessing some do vote and some don’t but I think unfortunately it’s more about influencing a lot of other voters

I know nothing about rap, but Wagner, TS Elliot and Degas (music, painting, and literature to illustrate how much it encompasses) were all extremely anti-Semitic; yet I not only appreciate and own copies of their work, but actively seek it out on the municipal art scene.

That was off the top of my head. My guess is that if I looked into the personal lives of any artists whose works I enjoy, I'd find a ton more discrimination and ugliness. I'd guess that applies to all of us if we're honest with ourselves.

It's tough to deny the singular genius of Bobby Fischer, almost as tough as it is to admit to myself how much of a jerk he really was. So I've learned to rationalize a distinction between their art and the flawed human who created the art.

Luckily for me, Wagner isn't on all over social media and television doing a promo tour for Die Meistersinger and opening his stupid yap.
