IMO.
Given that most people respect criminals more than people with mental illnesses and/or dementia, it's hardly fair and balanced comedy. I don't think it will affect the outcome, but I'm done with SNL. They may have destroyed Al Gore as well.

President Biden. I’m a little shocked because of his apparent dislike for dump (tweets, artwork). I’m hoping with the criticism SNL has recieved about this that maybe Carey will do a better job. We shall see. I’ve watched that show from the beginning even when it kind of lost its way. I’d hate to stop watching after all this time but it’s pissing me off.

Impersonations are funny when they exaggerate real personality idiosyncrasies, but Carrey depicting Joe Biden as suffering from dementia is not funny because there is zero similarity to any characteristic Joe Biden actually displays. I don’t know what the writers are thinking but I would assume their ratings are down.

How they have stayed on the air all these years with their lame skits is a mystery to me. All they ever have in their show, really, is an opening skit and the news. The rest of it is usually garbage. I guess it doesn't cost much to make. Unless I see a skit here or there as a clip online, I won't be watching it at all anymore.

I mean there’s nobody more unfunny than Eddie Murphy, Tina Faye, Chris Rock, Dana Carvey, Mike Meyers, Martin Short, Christopher Guest, Harry Shearer, Phil Hartman, Chris Farley, Jane Curtain, Kate McKinnon, Julia Louis Dreyfus, David Spade and Bill Murray. Completely unfunny. Every one of them. If only somebody could bring back the comedic brilliance of Milton Berle and Bob Hope.
