To me, the election feels like the Biden Campaign is running out the clock

and Trump and his campaign are acting more and more desperate.

This is like one of those Super Bowl games were one team ends up dominating and the other has little to no chance to turn it around as there isn't enough time on the clock to score enough to win the game.

We are now in the last two weeks and things may heat up some, but I believe most of it will come from the Trump side trying to find an October surprise that will last in the media more than 24 hours.

...as if we are going to lose, because the other side will try every way to suppress the vote, cheat, and steal the election.

...keeping the ball on the ground, hitting the holes, scoring first downs and keeping possession.

No field goal, going for the extra point.

I think it's true, and that they are trying to avoid two things:

Anything happening to Joe or Kamala.
Joe or Kamala contracting COVID-19.

They are making rational and safe choices while, as others have said, Trump is in full-blown self-destruction. Sun Tzu said your army should stay put if your opponent is dismantling himself.

It's also part of their message of stability and calm not to do anything extravagant, and to perhaps save up their resources in case Trump tries to do anything crazy from November 3 forward. That is when their energy might be needed.

IMO “managing the clock” was HRCs strategy too.

I think we need to hit Trump harder in ways that doesn’t inflame or motivate his base which may not be possible.

the clock is having its way with the Trumps and there isn't a thing they can do about it. Expect some ugly final throes. Then just like that, it will be over. Thank goodness.
