Voting down the ticket.

In 2008, I volunteered on the Obama campaign. After the election, when we were closing up the campaign office, people were sitting around talking about other Democrats who lost their races.

The problem: People came in and filled in the little circle next to Obama/Biden. And then they left, leaving the rest of their ballots blank. It was a big problem.

Don't be that person!

all the way to the end of the ballot. I vote on the issues presented and on the retention of judges as well.

I voted only to retain the Democrats. I voted against every Republican.

I go to the Missouri Bar Association's web page and look for their recommendations as to retain the judge or not.

That's so lazy. Take some time to find out about the races and vote in them too.

Plenty of time to fill in all the little circles. Here in GA-14, I even voted for Kevin Van Ausdal, knowing that he'd withdrawn (if only to show that Margie The Kook isn't universally loved around here).

If they were a (D), they got a vote. If they were an (R), I didn't even vote in that race. Why encourage them?
