Can we drop the Comey freakouts?

The Comey letter impacted the Clinton campaign because it addressed her directly. The FBI investigation into the “Produ Boys” emails has no link to Biden, and revealing the origins will make people MORE comfortable in voting for him.

It's nothing like the Comey letter. I do think it's disingenuous to suggest that the intent of the Iranians (if it was them) was to damage Trump; the Iranians and the Russians are allies, and Putin for sure is not inclined to damage Trump. The Russians, and probably the Iranians, are interested in fucking with us however they can, but a handful of threatening emails purporting to be from the Proud Boys is not in any way harmful to Biden.

They would clearly be better off with Trump as president. That goal and sowing chaos are not mutually exclusive. Same as 2016.

Which could easily refer to either the sentiment or its response.
