Wish I could post a photo of my rig. Running a Honda 2kW generator and 200W solar panel into a Goal Zero 1500 W/hr lithium-ion power inverter. Exactly the same power setup I had at Pinyon Peak fire lookout in Idaho this summer.
But running much more off the system here at my studios on the Blue Ridge Escarpment. Computer, device charging, and modem .. just like at the lookout. But also a refrigerator, a TV, a phone system, a few lights, and more, here on the mountain.
I have a dual-fuel range, so I can cook on the gas cooktop. Grilled a bodacious NY strip on the outside cook station tonight. Heated up some collards and mashed potatoes .. and what a great meal by headlamp.
