1. I feel like we've been in a war since election night 2016 at around 9 PM
But it is definitely escalating into a anxiety-filled crescendo.

2. More like in a war already.
Eerie several months in northern California with the virus and fires and smoke.
Have concluded that the virus is now being used in a war to make the USA a dictatorship; a eugenic tool to thin the herd of the old, infirm, disabled, poor, and people of color and concentrate wealth and power to a few. Disaster capitalism on steroids to follow. Trump, the Trump supporting GOP, and the MAGAidiots are not shy about goals. |

7. I wake up every morning hoping to hear that he has bit the big one.
That is our best hope at this point. Nothing would make me happier.

I told my husband it feels like we're slowly going up a roller coaster in the dark.

14. Yep. The mostly older white guys couldn't take it that a young black guy was
much more intelligent and educated than they were; and that Obama was loved and respected by everyone. They were afraid that they were losing their place in society, after all they were privileged doncha' know!

17. Yep, and they have the number one most resentful of them all, representing them
in the oval office. Pathetic.

11. This article says "no"
Americans hate each other. But we aren’t headed for civil war.
Research finds that a weak state and poverty predict such conflicts. https://www.washingtonpost.com/outlook/civil-war-united-states-unlikely-violence/2020/10/29/3a143936-0f0f-11eb-8074-0e943a91bf08_story.html |

16. Yes, I do.
We are preparing but we have no cohesive plan. It all scares me to death. It feels like there’s been a great big, negative shift in the universe.
