Welcome to the event that makes your pre-Halloween celebration the joyous occasion that it certainly is, you ghosts and goblins, you… It's time for The 14th Annual Late H. Lee Atwater Award for Right Wing Evil! (Insert evil, echoing cackle here.)



In this forth and hopefully final full year of suffering under real life evils, these festivities continue to have a special meaning for all of us. These circumstances have yielded quite a collection of evil actors too chose from, a veritable bumper crop of despicable Right Wing characters, delivered straight from Central Casting. A true collection of real life HORROR. (More evil, echoing cackling). Has there ever been a more horrifying collection of Scary Monsters hellbent on ruining everyone's lives before?

Why do I ask that question every year? They're always bad, so I must. But now, they seem so much worse. Much, much, much more worse.

As you know, the winner who will be chosen by all of you and will be announced at Midnight ET on Halloween, when the Rotting and Desiccated Corpse of the Late H. Lee Atwater will rise from his grave in South Carolina and hand out the award with his boney hands. That's tonight (East Coast time, of course).

Last year's winner, as you may remember, was The Entire Republican "Trump's Cult" Party. MAGAts with maggots, as it were and the recipient of the Sixth Annual Richard Bruce "Dick" Cheney Lifetime Achievement Award for Right Wing Evil was Addison Mitchell "Moscow Yertle" McConnell. Let's give others a chance this year, shall we?

What am I saying? Trump infests this year's selection and he stands a huge chance of taking it again this year. We'll, see, shall we?

Tonight, before the tolling of the Witching Hour that will signal another glorious Halloween, we'll all place our votes for the people that you have nominated.



After what we've all had to endure this year, it may seem as if the outcome will be obvious, but we have so many horrid little evil creatures to choose from. Use your vote well. Also, I'd like to take this time to announce that we'll be awarding the Seventh Annual Richard Bruce "Dick" Cheney Lifetime Achievement Award for Right Wing Evil to "Leningrad" Lindsey Graham,. Seeing how the award is shaped, it's long overdue for this guy. So, we're gonna rectify that.

Since we have a large amount of nominations this year, we'll have a playoff between the two top vote getters for the grand prize winner in about 12 hours.

I wish no human being ill, but Rush ain't long for this funny farm he's helped to convert this country into. I won't even give him the honorific of my scorn as he makes his exit; let him be forgotten, let him be flushed away.

Trump I can't even get mad at anymore. I'm just worn out on him. Unless you have a drug abusing, manipulative, alcoholic loser in your family, you can't know how exhausted I am from even the outrages of Trump's malfeasance of office. I am done and I am numb with him.

Near as I can see, the driving enabler behind all the horrible things this crowd is doing to our country, from Kavanaugh to Covid, Moscow Mitch McConnell is the source enabler of all the damage that's been done to this nation. He has turned America into a toxic work environment. Before him, we had problems of course, just like any other country in the world. Through his use of office McConnell has thrown everything out the window that redeemed us from our past sins. More than anything else, he has killed the spirit of democracy and fair play that it always given us hope... and replaced it an unprincipled lust for power.

As a suggestion, consider doing another Lifetime Achievement Award for Right Wing Evil just on the RW billionaires that are at the core of RW thuggery such as Mercer, Adelson, Prince/Devos, Murdoch, et al. Without them, the GOP would be nothing. Might be hard to find good graphics though since they manage to remain behind the curtain.

Trump needs a lifetime achievement award...maybe name it after Joseph McCarthy.

I chose Barr over the senators, evil though they are, because senators can't damage this nation all by themselves, and Barr can.
