Now that Trump is just plainly in denial about how dangerous his rallies are to the attendees and the communities they go back to, the facile Jim Jones comparisons don't seem so facile anymore.

I looked up the last Jim Jones speech, and from the aggrandized self-victimization to the general rambling aggrieved nature, take out the specifics and you're tonally in the Trump oratory wheelhouse.
