Unraveling Lindsey Graham takes bizarre shot at Donald Trump

?s=20

Bill Palmer | 10:30 pm EDT October 29, 2020

Last week Donald Trump loyalist Lou Dobbs urged his viewers not to vote for Lindsey Graham, because Graham hasn’t been willing to help Trump punish social media companies for taking down Trump’s false tweets. Dobbs would only be doing this if Trump told him to. It looks like Graham has figured out that Trump is out to get him, and now Graham is taking shots at Trump accordingly.

During an interview with local station WCNC, Lindsey Graham was asked why a stimulus package didn’t get done before the election. Graham’s answer: “I’ll be honest with you, I don’t see much desire to help President Trump on anything, to be honest with you.”

Graham then went on to explain why he didn’t like the House version of the stimulus bill, and he predicted that a bipartisan stimulus will get done shortly after the election. In other words, Graham and Senate Republicans weren’t willing to swallow the House stimulus just to help Trump’s reelection odds. Looks like the Senate GOP is indeed hanging Trump out to dry.

twice in a sentence. Bad enough once, but doesn’t 2 times behave akin to a doulble negative and turn one into a dishonest lyin’ sack o’ potatoes?

It's always very inaccurate. Graham was talking about Dems in the house not wanting to help Trump. Just because Palmer report tells us what we love to hear does not make it right.

I blocked that site on twitter. Although they may be on “our side” much is exaggerated or hyperbole. Sometimes even completely a wrong spin.

5. Do you remember when McConnell tricked Trump into taking the blame?

He told him Democrats weren’t negotiating in good faith. Trump publicly tried to be a tough guy and pulled out of negotiations. Turns out it was a McConnell trick to protect senators.

So Graham is kind of right here and he is partly to blame with the “over my dead body” talk.

and thinks Trump is going down - so why not have him take the blame for the failing to 'help the American people'. Then Turtle can call for austerity and reducing the deficit once Biden gets in.

Looking at it 8 different ways, every Senate election forecast projects a Democratic majority there. One of the eight predicts a tie, but that's still a majority with VP Harris casting vote #51.

My prediction two weeks ago was that once Barret was confirmed republicans would begin throwing trump under the bus, with Barret in they don't need him anymore, they know he is so toxic, that keeping him is destroying their party, not realizing they have and continue to contribute to the destruction, its just that the buffoon has a higher visual than many of them do.
