(17,442 posts)I will likely binge watch some TV series. If I don't find anything airing on the satellite, there are many hours of Twilight Zone shows on the recorder.
I don't want to listen to a whole night of talking heads giving their opinions.
Sherman A1
(38,958 posts)I dont need the opinions of talking heads.

(38,958 posts)on Wednesday. There is nothing I can do about it anyway, so I'm not going to get upset or listen to the endless drone of the talking heads.

(2,511 posts)I'm still on Star Trek Enterprise.
I do take breaks from it because after watching three of four episodes in a row, I get Trekked out.
Suggestions for anything not dark?

Silver Gaia
(4,544 posts)and Brian Williams' sarcastic wit works well with them.
It already feels like a horror show that I'll be peeking through my fingers at. That crew will either be peeking with me, or they will calm me down. Either way, they feel the most like friends to me, and I want to be with friends.

(62,271 posts)They have been the most accurate calling elections and watching the hosts sweet tears trickle down their face is something I am going to cherish.
Note: I will be heavily drunk at the time.
PS I'm not even joking but I'll flip to CNN from time to time because they have been a bastion of sanity the past few years, even though they created this monster, they're ending his reign.
Clearly fogged in
(1,896 posts)The link tells what it is, they do 16 lyrically altered songs. I'm ready to replace the noise and hysteria of terrible election day coverage with music and entertainment.

(54,387 posts)I had a hand in this, even wrote part of it, but due to my work schedule, I haven't seen it yet myself. Tomorrow for sure!
In the intro blurbs, Melania sounds like Rocky the Squirrel's Natasha, and Robert Yarnall's "Bernie Sanders" sounds EXACTLY like Bernie Sanders (or, at least, Larry David doing Bernie Sanders).
Clearly fogged in
(1,896 posts)Keep up here at du, and watch Political Idol in the gaps of tv coverage. Should be good filler in those long boring waits for new news.
eta no, didn't watch current show

(41,963 posts)Ill switch to CNN sometimes but they just dont have the juice that the women+1 on MSNBC have.
Besides, I actually LIKE Steve Kornacki.

If the race is called for Biden, Ill bounce around everywhere on TV and online to bask in the victory, after dancing in the street.

(4,191 posts)Hopefully they'll be running their usual weeknight spate of Forensic Files, otherwise Netflix.
If we watch news(and I'm sure we'll check in), it will probably be CNN to avoid Kernacki.

CNN. I refuse. Santorum and Jones is enough for me to be repelled from it
Greybnk48
(10,168 posts)But mostly MSNBC. I love their team, and hopefully they will have on Claire McCaskill, Michael Steele, James Carville, Steve Schmidt, John Heilemann, E.J. Dionne, et. Al.
question everything
(47,481 posts)Did not watch the last debate so went to MSNBC for analysis. Joy Reid read some kind of a manifesto and kept telling Nicole Wallace and Rachel Maddow not to interrupt her. CNN was good with Gloria Borger but Rick Santorum??
