Are you living in hope and fear at the same time?

Countless millions of us are. We are hopeful that Joe will win so big that it can't be disputed. Yet, we fear that the beast will still, somehow steal it.

Any half-aware human being knows for a fact that there aren't enough voters to give Trump a win. But most are also aware that there are those working full time to keep him in the White House, no matter what must be done to make it happen.

Yes, our country is divided, but it's not a 50/50 proposition. Somewhere over thirty percent of the population of America are MAGAts, yet they control most of the levers of power at this moment. And this gives them the power to shut us up, shut us down, and fuck us.

The outcome won't come next Tuesday. It may take a week or two of maneuvering, twisting, turning, wrestling, arguing, and court cases to find out who is going to be in charge for the next four years (or for the foreseeable future).

But stop and think for a moment. Do you really have to wonder who already has and will get the most votes in this election, (both numerically and in the electoral college)? TRUMP CAN'T WIN. He can only steal it.

But, at this moment, the vast majority of us have little to no control over the outcome.

If Joe wins big, we have a long hard road of recovery (from Covid-19, to human sanity) ahead of us. If Trump "wins," democracy and America are over.

We are all sharing the same hopes and fears right now. And all you can do is vote, if you haven't already done so. Or help someone else to vote if they haven't already done so.

Many generations in the history of the world have gone through a horrific period of hope/fear, enlightenment/ignorance, growth/destruction. It's now our turn. And history will judge us accordingly.

I see more hope (+ anger @trump)than fear around me but yes there is hope and fear
That nagging thoughts about what who we are up against on the other side means there are many strong emotions this election

My biggest fear is what is said about this country if it is close enough to steal . I hope there are many more of us than them
STILL time to GOTV

the Enterprise would be facing imminent annihilation, and they'd put the camera on Spock, and he'd simply say, "fascinating"?
That's how this election is turning out for me.
