(14,565 posts)That was the last day allowed by Florida law, under the 33-40 day window. The vast majority of counties mailed ballots the first possible day, September 24
I know that seems like plenty of time but a full week later is meaningful on the margins

(26,079 posts)This is the scare du jour the last day. I'm down here, this isn't true. No one has any idea how anyone is voting.
Notice teh same sources aren't talking about the insane and unusual turnout for Broward, or how Palm Beach County is well above 2016 turnout.

(146,317 posts)More doom and gloom. As far as I know, there are zero actual vote tallies available. There are some places reporting the number of ballots by party, but that is not a vote count.
I guess we'll find out more on Tuesday and Wednesday.

(11,683 posts)Arriving in the U.S. from Dictatorships, and likely especially phobic anti-Socialist/Communistic to start, they may find any hint of such sends them into a panic. So damaged, or innately adverse, to consider anything smacking of Socialism that they will hurt America in my opinion with this hysteria.

Voters can also drop off their vote-by-mail ballots from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Monday, November 2, and Tuesday, November 3 that'd be Election Day but only at the following four locations:
Miami-Dade Elections Department, 2700 NW 87th Ave., Miami 33172 North Dade Regional Library, 2455 NW 183rd St., Miami Gardens 33056 South Dade Regional Library, 10750 SW 211th St., Cutler Bay 33189 Stephen P. Clark Center lobby, 111 NW First St., Miami 33128
