Ed Rendell is a major Corporate Democrat, but he won elections and knew what to do to win them. I suspect that Daley will do well in that department.

4. Fingers crossed that it may be a worthwhile transition.

On the other side, the Democrats need a fighter on the campaign trail. The Daleys are tainted. The downside I see from him being involved. It may give the Republicans something to run on; however, they have KKKarl Rove. They need to get real. They are in no position to get all moral and self righteous on us.

5. Unlike Romney, President Obama does not enjoy firing people. This called giving Daley a "soft

landing" or a way to save face. Obama's not a "kicked to the curb" kind of guy.
