Related: Editorials & Other Articles, Issue Forums, Alliance Forums, Region ForumsWhat those nasty Trump supporters did to the Biden.Harris bus yesterday is NOT ok,
And what the TX law enforcement HAS NOT done is also not ok.
Our candidates are in real danger from these deplorable haters.
This is all the more proof that when Trump is out of office he needs to be prosecuted for his crimes and indicted, and sent to jail for whatever crimes can be proved against him. He needs to be the example to his deplorable followers that they, too will be prosecuted and jailed when found guilty. The tone is set at the top so much the EXAMPLE.
His followers are generally cowards and when they do not have the backing of law enforcement and the possibility of a Presidential pardon, and a party that backs there nasty actions they will fold, run and hide in their creature swamps from whence they came.
I just pray the our candidates will be safe from COVID and from MAGA creations.

(5,711 posts)Those sad, and frustrated people driving in that trump caravan around the Biden bus, cant stop change in Texas.
They are turning into political dinosaurs.
Hopefully, they will muster up self respect and dignity when they lose Tuesday.

(268,980 posts)It was a crime and must be dealt with as such - just assume the people in trucks were Muslims or BLM protesters and they'd be in police lock ups all now

(5,126 posts)And, I am hopeful that, once Biden is in office. he will clean up the FBI and send them down there to ask about that day. We have plenty of footage of license plates. Time for some knocks on the door. Hey, if you have not done anything wrong...
VOTE THEM ALL OUT!!

(5,126 posts)I hope every single person in those vehicles, whether they were driving or not, is charged with breaking federal laws as well as state and local. Hit them so hard that their grandkids will be paying for it, and you might find less and less of this happy horseshiat.
I have been sounding off for some time now that we need to call their actions what they are, and you are EXACTLY right.
It WAS an act of terrorism, by definition.
And I cannot stress enough how important it is that we not merely be supportive of prosecution, but DEMAND it.
It will not matter if Democrats regain control of both the White House and both Houses of Congress, if they do not then USE that power to enforce the rule of law. This IS the LAST chance we will get, and if our elected Democratic leaders do not rise to the task before them, it IS game over for America, simple as that.

(268,980 posts)The time has come for that to be more than words - and many cops should also be locked up for protecting criminals.
This is not merely a US problem either - this problem exists in most of our so called democracies.

(2,574 posts)We must accurately anticipate what they are going to do after Trump is defeated, and come up with a plan to prevent them from causing harm to innocent people, to the greatest degree we possibly can.
I seriously hope our Democratic leaders already have a plan in place to deal with these lunatics.
