But maybe with a great deal of votes already cast going to Texas no longer matters.

Honestly, I think his campaign is keeping him busy so he doesn't do anything that could further hurt down ballot candidates. Keep him busy for now.

We'd know it would be gone right as soon as he did that as Texas is so far down the flip list.

succeeds at throwing out lots of ballots in Dem cities like they're trying to do right now in Houston. I think with almost 10 million votes in already, Trump knows he can't influence Texas much anymore so he just has to bank on cheating.

I.e., although most likely it's not possible to replicate the 2008 map as it is shown above thanks to 12 years of steady toxic propaganda since the 2008 election, that 2008 map shows some states that flipped that were pretty much not even on the radar back then. But the kicker is that a few are actually back in play now (along with others that weren't even borderline possible the last 3 election cycles)!
