I hope the Biden campaign is ready for when trump declares victory & immediately

steps on trump's strategic ploy to be the perceived winner by near concurrently declaring victory himself, so that the coverage is the same.

I hate it. It shouldn't matter, but that fed into public perception with W.

This shouldn't be this way, but this is partly what Hillary was talking about.

Concede no ground. Fuck them up. Take it to them.

If the AP and all the networks call it, no one is going to listen to his whining. This is especially true if it's the blowout it looks like it very well may be.

Something simple, like: "We're confident about the numbers, but are waiting for all the votes to be counted. Anyone who declares victory early is not respecting the will of the voters."

What is his idea of him being ahead? 20 points behind, 10 points behind, 5 points behind, or 1 point ahead?

Leads as they count mail in ballots early and those counts will hit minutes after polls close. Realistic biden could declare victory using trumps logic by 9pm....when you understand when votes are counted, and numbers released, nothing favors trump in Ohio, Florida, Arizona and even Texas. The only hold ups will be Wisconsin and Pennsylvania and they may not even matter. Take a breath and chill.

We all know Trump will do audaciously stupid stuff but I have a feeling he might run for cover in the face of real defeat. It truly comes down to whether we even knows what reality looks like.

make the calls based on 40 or 50% of the vote count, sometimes more, sometimes less.

Like 2 or 3 counties in Ohio, Florida, Pennsylvania that are bellweather for outcomes of the entire state with under performance or over performance.
