I agree, Hitler was no intellectual genius, but did have a certain brilliance in manipulating people and he did surround himself with smart, competent, evil people and German discipline, is legendary.

I also think Trump has the same sort of ability in manipulating certain people.

The difference is the American people. We haven't been crushed the way the German people were by World War I and its aftermath. We have a longer tradition of democracy and we're much more of an "unruly" bunch.

But even so, upwards of 40% of us still support this guy. And most of them would be fine with marching Muslims off to camps.

which might make him less dangerous than Hitler, but extremely dangerous just the same.
