Remember that we've had a LOT of early voting, so turnout will appear to be low tomorrow in most precincts. Discouraging posts about turnout are always a downer on election day.

(1,366 posts)It serves no purpose. I'm a realist, but again -- such posting doesn't make any difference. Do something if you think it is bad. I'm right now sending texts to registered dems. Do something.

(6,561 posts)All voting will be down tomorrow. 97.5 million and counting, that 71% of the 2016 totals.
Also, many Republicans will be voting Biden, and even more indies will be voting Biden

(2,028 posts)Most of the people who write this stuff are expressing anxiety. This is an actually counterproductive, dangerous way to express it. Have a Xanax or cup of Sleepytime II or joint or single malt scotch (however you roll), then go do something else. Arrange a Zoom hangout with other worriers to support each other. Better yet, if there is anything else you can do to help your local party that day, volunteer. Be too busy to fret and post your fretting all over DU or social media! The antidote to those worries is to GOTV!
